indoor air measurements?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-496a3409 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"496a3409\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>La qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019air int\u00e9rieur (QAI) est un enjeu majeur pour la sant\u00e9 et le bien-\u00eatre des personnes qui passent beaucoup de temps dans des environnements clos, comme les \u00e9tablissements recevant du public (ERP), les \u00e9coles, les transports, etc. La QAI peut \u00eatre affect\u00e9e par les \u00e9missions ext\u00e9rieures, mais aussi par les activit\u00e9s humaines, les mat\u00e9riaux de construction, le mobilier, les produits de d\u00e9coration etc. En France, la surveillance de la QAI dans certains ERP est une obligation r\u00e9glementaire depuis la loi n\u00b02010-788 du 12 juillet 2010.   <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-3079e8f5 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"3079e8f5\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>It must be carried out every 7 years by the establishment&#8217;s owner or operator and includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>an annual assessment of building ventilation systems;<\/li>\n<li>an indoor air quality self-diagnosis (at least every 4 years);<\/li>\n<li>a campaign to measure regulated pollutants such as formaldehyde, benzene, carbon dioxide (CO<sub>2<\/sub>) and, in some cases, tetrachloroethylene (or perchloroethylene);<\/li>\n<li>drawing up an action plan to improve indoor air quality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The current regulatory surveillance was revised by the 4<sup>th<\/sup> National Environmental Health Plan (2021-2025) &#8220;One environment, one health&#8221; and came into force on January 1, 2023. In particular, it provides for: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a measurement of carbon dioxide concentration as part of the annual assessment of ventilation systems;<\/li>\n<li>key stages in the life of the building that may have an impact on indoor air quality;<\/li>\n<li>a threshold for triggering pollutant measurement campaigns, and the deadlines for their completion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There are many sources of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in indoor air. VOCs are organic compounds that can easily be found in gaseous form in the earth&#8217;s atmosphere. They constitute a very broad family of compounds, and have the particularity of having a very low boiling point, which gives them the ability to spread more or less far from their place of emission, resulting in direct and indirect impacts on animals and nature.  <\/p>\n<p>VOCs can be of anthropogenic origin (from refining, evaporation of organic solvents, unburned, etc.) or of biotic origin. VOCs can be defined according to their use: solvent, degreaser, preservative, cleaning agent, etc. <\/p>\n<p>Sources of VOCs in indoor air can include the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintenance and cleaning products: certain household products, such as detergents, cleaning products and air fresheners.<\/li>\n<li>Construction and finishing materials: certain materials such as paints, varnishes, glues and carpets.<\/li>\n<li>Furniture and objects: certain items such as mattresses, cushions and toys.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It&#8217;s important to note that each of these sources emits very few VOCs, but their accumulation can create a problem in terms of overall final concentration (total VOCs or TVOCs) in indoor air.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-72edaaf elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"72edaaf\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong> Some examples of indoor air measurement applications are listed below:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li>Indoor public spaces such as communities, schools and museums<\/li><li>Indoor air quality monitoring measures in public buildings (LAB REF 30)<\/li><li>Sick Building Syndrome (SBS), Permanent or occasional odors<\/li><li>Measurements in sensitive establishments<\/li><li>HQE, BREEAM, INTAIRIEUR, WELL, LEED building
