Why is it essential to measure it? <\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3b5b49e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3b5b49e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Nitrous oxide (CAS n\u00b0: 10024-97-2) is considered as one of the most dangerous greenhouse gases for the environment, contributing to both stratospheric ozone depletion and global warming.<\/p><p>In addition to its alarming role as a greenhouse gas, nitrous oxide, also known as nitrogen protoxide or laughing gas for its medical and recreational uses, is also toxic to humans. These biological processes transform nitrogen into various forms, including N\u2082O, which is then released into the atmosphere or trapped in soil gases (nitrification\/denitrification phenomena in cultivated soils). <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ef4edce e-flex e-con-boxed exposed, such as hospital and veterinary practitioners, who are particularly exposed to nitrous oxide due to its use as an anesthetic in surgery.  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Food industry, Microelectronics, Aerospace :  <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>N\u2082O can be used as a propellant in food aerosols, such as whipped cream, in the manufacture of semiconductors or even as an oxidizer
