What is soil-gas analysis and what is it used for?
Soil-gas analysis involves sampling and analyzing gases present in soil pores, particularly at potentially contaminated sites such as former industrial sites and landfills. It is essential for assessing the risk of toxic vapours migrating into buildings constructed on or near these sites as part of contaminated land and soil investigations (SSP). TERA Environnement provides sampling services and chemical analyses for target contaminants including VOCs, chlorinated VOCs, hydrocarbons, PAHs, mercury, BTEX and H2S.
