Canisters and Veriflow

The canister, a high-performance sampling medium for your VOC analyses!

The canister is a high-performance sampling medium for characterizing VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) present in the air. Unlike  other more sensitive media such as tubes with adsorbent, it offers the following advantages:

  • Stainless steel The canister is made of stainless steel, making it corrosion-resistant and durable. It can be used in a wide range of environments without deteriorating : soil gases, atmospheric emissions, ambient air, indoor air, etc.

  • Inert inner surface inert and suitable for reactive compounds such as sulfur compounds.

  • Hermetically sealed Canisters are hermetically sealed to avoid potential contamination from the environment once the sample has been taken. Sampled air remains trapped inside the canister until it reaches the laboratory.

  • Easy to use No need for a power supply.

  • Two sampling modes It is possible to sample either ” instantaneously ” (by returning the canister to atmospheric pressure under vacuum), for rapid sampling, or to stagger canister filling over several hours, using a veriflow at the canister outlet.

  • Wide range of analyzable compounds

A large fleet of canisters and veriflow at your disposal

TERA Environnement has a fleet of over 150 6L or 1L canisters and over 80 veriflow samplers for 1-3h, 8h or 24h sampling.

TERA Environnement is a major player in the field of air analysis, and was the first private laboratory in France to launch into canister analysis some 20 years ago.
